V70 vibration woes.......
Guys,
I need some help. I have a 2005 Volvo V70 2.4D SE Geartronic that now has 84k mls on her. I bought it back in 2006 when it only had 30k. For the last while the car has been suffering with front wheel vibration (quite bad at times). It also now likes pulling to the left when driving. Checked the usual stuff like wheel balancing, tracking - even got the wheels repaired to see if they had any buckles.... all still havent fixed the problem. Two sets of front tyres later (where is is wearing heavily on the inside of the tyre) I'm losing my rag, and need to get this fixed asap. I did notice the other day that when sitting flat, that it seemed to be dipping on the passenger front side, so did a check and I can get only two fingers in between the tyre and bodywork, but 3 fingers on the drivers side. Also, have been noticing a knock out of the passenger wheel side when sometimes doing a full lock on the wheels. Maybe just me, but she also seems to skid in wet weather to the passenger side when turning right from take off in wet weather. Now, I have just heard a knock from the drivers front side when going over speed bumps of late, so could this all be a shock absorber issue? Assuming the front passenger spring is worn now anyway, so am I best doing all shocks and the front springs? Could the shocks be causing the judder through the car (nearly more like a hoping) and uneven tyre wear? I was looking and the KYB shocks seem to be the best recommended for the car - any idea where best to get them cheap? thanks guys, hopefully someone can lend some advice. The pulling and tyre wear could be down to worn lower arm bushes.

Is there an easy way to determine if they are gone?
