I've got mudflaps! Doesn't help with the arches, but it does keep stones off the rear bumper and front doors.

I certainly noticed the lack of s**t sprayed up the side of the car, once mud flaps were fitted. 225`s certainly stick out a fair bit over standard tyres lol

Nearside headlamp wiper stuck upright and occasionally flickers. No whirring noise like on the offside one.

Little help please??

They seem to have a 10 year shelf life. Best bet is to find a used one in working order and then see if you can fix the broken one, and then sell it (or keep it as a spare for when the one you bought dies).

One of mine was playing up
I pulled both apart, cleaned, adjusted contacts and regreased
Refurbed the motor brushes

Didn't help, must be something inside that rubber poured insulation block thing
Way above my paygrade

Got a cheapie from the breaker

Thumbs up

Planned on treating the plastic trim tonight, with a new bottle of C4, but it is pi55ing down with rain, so postponed until tomorrow, as I have the day off.

Also, taking a trip down to speak to the guys at Pipe Dynamics about a S/S exhaust system.

Cat back system costs £390, which isn't bad, but need to find out what the full system will be, including a new cat. I bet that won't be cheap! :-/

Been trying the usual ignition tactics to get it to the return position. After about 20 turns I got it back to normal. However, on the 21st, it returned to "startled" position. Stupid.

On the plus side, went to put fuel in the car this evening and after getting back into the car, the wiper went to normal again (where it is now).

No doubt it will start moving again by itself, or when I next use the wash wipe.

I'm considering just unplugging the connectors as per this thread:

http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=125752

They aren't an essential item and don't do a great deal but I like them - they add character to the car, especially as the headlights aren't the most style oriented part of the car.

My question is, will the headlamp wipers and washers be tested on the next MOT (August) and more importantly, is this a fail?

thanks all.
