All mechanical tensioners on them, you are just replacing the belts with new ones I suppose. Loosen tensioners, remove belts, replace and tighten. You have to be able to twist the belts at 90 degrees using thumb and index finger without using too much force-then the tension is right. Might as well do the cambelt whilst you are at it.

The power steering belt stays where it is and the alternator belt goes in the middle

Be aware that tensioners tend to corrode and seize if unattended during routine maintenance and they can then fail when one tries to adjust them. Apply some Plus Gas in advance of doing the job.

Removing the belts is not difficult little fiddly , first if all give the adjusters and spray with some penetrating oil, as they can get stiff and it's an easy bolt to snap.
Another thing you need to watch out for is getting the right belts, they should be 11.9mm wide, the p/s, crank and water pump should be 1000mm and 1013 for the alternator belt. To loosen the Alternator belt, first loosen the nut on the adjuster this is the one on the bottom, don't need to remove it just needs to be loose. then loosen off the main pivot now all you need todo is undo the small adjuster bolt and alternator will swing down, if it feels a little stiff you can loosen the bottom mount on the adjuster slide as well. The same process on the power steering pump, usually easier to get at that one from the bottom. To tighten them up turn the adjuster the other way, till they are tight press middle of the run between the pulleys should be around 5-10mm with a bit of pressure on it. Now they are tight, tighten the main main bolts back up final step is slacken off the adjuster bolt a little. The adjusters are on the under side, has the thin long bolt, looks like Adjuster

Use this belt for the power steering and the alternator of you don't want to get genuine Volvo ones.
