Unhappy Seat belt warning!

Hi all, Does anyone know how to disable the seat belt warning buzzer as my wife has a habit of taking off her belt when we are about to stop somewhere thus setting off the buzzer and giving me a bloody heart attack! I have a VIDA to use but cant find the place to disable the buzzer! Many thanks

Hi
My eldest daughter used to do that when she was about 6.
I chose my moment and applied the brakes quite hard and she never did it again! She is now 35 and always keeps her belt on until she stops, same with her children.

She obviously just needs a bit more training!!,surely taking off the belt a few seconds early can't save her much time in the real world.

As it's a safety devise I doubt it. You could plug a seat belt extender into the receiver which would fool the system into thinking the belt is connected and the seat belt into that. However a deciced wife may be the outcome. Your stopping doesnot preclude someone else crashing into you while stationary.

Paul.
