lovely building and very nice interior features. love the staircase and panelling. no gym or spa though. i used the one at holbeck just about every day - had to because of those big evening meals! good to read you've got a rosette. like the sound of the organic lamb washed down with a savigny-lès-beaune (stayed there too... beaune!).

Yep. lovely place. Food really nice and well arranged although small portions and expensive.Great views and fantastic views from the deluxe rooms and the boathouse is tranquil.Nice to view the scenery whilst dining too.

BTW I stayed there I dont own it...!!..LOL

It stemmed from Rdesign Bob saying..."Yup, we like pictures"....so I thought I would post a few nice piccies. (the )..was meant to indicate it wasnt my place...LOL

Tis a nice place though. We all stayed over Christmas and New Year a while back.It was great (and expensive)..!!

if you're still there make sure you have a meal at holbeck ghyll. it's on the other side of the road to langdale chase. it's an amazing restaurant: oak panelled, great, great food.

Yes never been.

I take it it is up the road about 50 yards or so on the left when passing The Chase (steep and sudden left)
