Thank you, do you know if i have to get the exact same model no. unit ? Its part no. 30752870-1 I can see alot of 2nd hand units but none that match that.

If you get the exact same part number, there is zero risk that the donor DVD drive will not work

If you get a different part number, there is some risk that the donor DVD drive will not work.
We do not know what hardware, firmware and software changes exist between different part numbers. Only the Volvo factory knows that.

So anything with a different part number is always a gamble.... sometimes you win, sometimes you lose....
