Default 2013 V60 D5 Navigation failure

Good evening all,

First post on the forum, hopefully someone can help however I fear the answer could lead to a hefty bill.

Have had my V60 for about 4 years now and so far no issues. Sadly last week the Sensus navigation seems to have given up. Pressing the 'Nav' button on the console I get the usual disclaimer to press OK to and then it switches to the 'Navigation, please wait..' screen with spinning globe at which point it just sits there.

Two initial thoughts are that it can't get a GPS signal or the hard disk in the unit has given up. The fact that 'Map and software version' is greyed out in the information screen maybe indicates the latter?

Apologies if this is a common question. I have searched on hard disk, hdd, sensus etc but could not find a match.

Any information would be much appreciated.

Many thanks - David

You could try and update the map and see if this sorts it. Or try and reinstall the map that you have on it.

I have seen posts on other parts of the forum where the aerial has been the problem hence no signal.

Many thanks for the replies. I'll keep digging.

It is in for a service next week so will see if anything pops up on the diagnostics.
