XC60 Issues

Brake problem sounds like car straining at the leash (so to speak)
just the general weight and power of the car.
may be worth getting the dealer to have a look

There have been known issues with BLIS. If you search older threads, you will find numerous posts regarding this. Most known problem is issues with a heater meant to defog the inside of the lenses.

Apart from the issue mentioned above, I also experienced the fault messages you mentioned, but most of the time it happened in the same places along the road. Hence, I concluded that some roadside fences etc. easily fool the BLIS, especially in rainy weather.

Very old thread I know, but I have this creaking noise from the steering - definitely seems to be when weight is shifting to the front i.e braking and steering into my driveway

I find it hard to replicate, but can also make a similar creaky noise when turning the steering wheel from full left to full right lock when stationery (I know this isn't good to do, but only for the purpose of trying to establish if there's an issue)

Anyone else had this and what was the solution?

I think you should try and film the noise otherwise it’s very difficult to guess. I have a creak from the steering column in cooler weather, the clock spring was changed last year but it came back after a few months. I’d know that noise if I could hear it

Hello,
My 2018 XC60 D4 momentum has Blis, reverse camera, front park sensors and apple car play as fitted extras.
Car is currently in dealership as various issues with car which started with Air Con not working together with air vents not blowing air.
Problems continued with fan switching on but staying on with passenger temp at 22 degrees whilst driver was set at low.

Blis service light came on and message about child locks.

Lost electric Windows as well, then found I couldn't lock the car which eventually worked but then I couldn't unlock the car!

Called Volvo Assist and have a replacement hire car for a few days, however it sounds like the fault cannot be diagnosed.

It's a real shame as for the 2000 miles so far until now has been a real pleasure but I hope this issue can be resolved ASAP.

Has anyone else had this happen to them?
