The only issue was the wiring module, that I needed to buy the latest model from Right Connections for £50.

Mark, did you try the old module before buying new?

Where did you buy the module from? Directly from right connections or a dealer?

Thanks
Matt

Hi Matt,

Tried the module from the phase one XC60, and the brake lights didn't work, tried the module from my Phase three V70 2012 and nothing worked.

Spoke direct with Right Connections, sent the latest module for the XC60 (a year ago), and all worked straight away.

All modules had different part number, not just version numbers.

Regards - Mark

Thanks Mark

I will plug mine in then and see what it does, I have emailed right connections but haven't had a response.

Don't suppose you have any details of the one they supplied to you?

There you go mate.

I found calling and ordering over the phone, paying by card much quicker than emailing them.

Regards - Mark

Default Tow bar question

We have a xc60 2016 and I want a bike rack fitted to a tow bar. Was going to get it done for 1/2 the price of Volvo but the garage has put the heebeegeebees up my husband and told him unless they fit it we will encounter the wrath of Kahn in electrical problems that will then not be under warranty and cost K£'s to put right. I was going to a local place with an excellent reputation. Not a chance this side of elysium that husband would be able to do it!

Got mine done by a local garage that only do towbars. It's a brink removable, cost £400 I then got the bumper cover from volvo for £12. Had it over a year for my bike rack. It's fantastic. No problems at all.

Default Towbar fitting

Trying to get the bumper off. Undone the 5 torx screws and the four bolts under the bumper. Where the diagram shows 2 fixings under the rubber bump stops I have no fixing there. Any ideas anybody?
