Title is a bit misleading OP. How about just Swedish cars in General? Will bring along the Saab

Not misleading at all. The post was designed originally to attract interest from Volvo 700 owners (30th anniversary of the launch-hence"convoy"). However this event is the VOC Northern BKV (Volvo Owners Club Northern Best Kept Volvo), a regional version of the National BKV.

As there are, and continue to be, far more viewers (1620!) of this thread than 700 owners, I thought the thread should make clear the event is for all Volvo owners.

Hence the"change".

Hi guys, i'm going to the Northern, just sorting the headlining,discs, pads, fan belt exhaust and wheels, so should be ready by Friday for a cruise up north in my new 740 turbo.
