Something like this? Might be a tad expensive to buy though!

Its basically a boot protector which covers the floor, sides and back of the seats

£180 from volvo seems a bit strong so was hoping for a used one

I have had these in ford mondeo and 2 xc60s. Really well made and easy to fix to the car as they are tailored to fit all nooks and crannies in the boot, does exactly what it says on the tin and compared to the volvo one they are very good value for money. Only downside is it hides the tie down points in the boot (as I expect the volvo one would to).

Agreed, Hatchbag boot liners are superb, great product and made in Liverpool...
My new XC60 my14 had one in the minute I got it, the anti slip base stops my work cases from moving around and the boot area will be spotless when I come to trade it in...

I have used hatchbags before, in my ml and grand Cherokee. I didn't really like the Velcro fastenings, once the double sided tape got clogged with dog hair they seemed to lose their stickiness, and the window fixings also lost their adhesion after a while.

We use one of these in the SMax - floor protector . Obviously not protecting the height, but guards nicely against spills and general detritus

I will probably get one once my delivery gets close enough!!
