Default Does anyone have?

Hi all.
I have a 2007 XC90 with original sat nav maps.
Does anyone have a set of updated map discs for sale please?
New to Volvo, would the system need updating, or does it have update programs on the disc please?
Could any of you geniuses out there tell me what model my sat have unit is please?
Don't understand the RTI MMM, MMM2 or MMM+ or what years they are associated with.
Many thanks in advance.

The MMM+ with HDD maps is from MY07, so if you are sure you have MY07, then you must have MMM+ with HDD.

Have a look in the nav settings to see what map version is loaded.
This will confirm if DVD based or HDD based

I have the HDD based loaded with 2018 maps:

Map P/N 32214049 AA (shown on DVD as "Includes map 32214049")
Map version AEU_06_201701A, which is a 2017 map DVD, released early 2018
SW version 00002308/02400 (unchanged over 2015 map)
DVD Name EU-3350-00_1 (and EU-3350-00_2 for DVD2)
VCC part no 32214046 1748
Data Version 17/05/16/01 (which is 16.05.2017)

If your map version is AEU_06_yyyy, the AEU means All-EU, and thus is entire Europe and means DVD map, and yyyy is the year of the map

I have an old 2008 or 2009 DVD, but honestly if I were you I'd go straight to the 2018 map.

Found my old posting

My car came with a AEU_06_201001C map (2010), which is now surplus to requirements

But I still recommend you get a 2018 map.....

Hi Swiss.
I checked the system on my car.
Although the car is 07 registered the sat nav assuming from the details must be the DVD type.
What does the DVD unit look like please?
The one under the passenger seat in my car is plain black, no lights showing or no buttons, just a flap you slide down to access disc where two green lights appear one each side.
Map version AEU_06_2005021
SW version 00000350/02220
SW P/N 0030775701 AA
HW P/N 0030752407 AD

It looks to me that your maps are 4 years newer than mine.
A couple of questions please?
Would they be suitable for my unit?
Do they cover France and Spain?
If they do, do you fancy selling them please?

Sorry, can't pm you due to not enough posts

Regards Steven

Well this looks like all EU: AEU_06_2005

But it's a 2005 map, so it must be the MMM system, not MMM+

Remove the DVD and note the part number of the map, then google it, that will tell you 100% for sure

Note that HDD-based MMM+ and DVD-based MMM maps are not compatible with each other

Question

Just went to check the disc and there isn't one in the system.
The sat nav still works though. I have been informed that it may be the HDD system as it needs no disc to use the sat nav.

These are a couple of pictures of unit and map info

Then you clearly have a HDD nav (MMM+) that has never been updated. Jump from 2005 to 2017 maps and enjoy 12 years of map progress
