Information
  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

It was slow, that's why i didn't brake for any of the corners!!!! LOL.

Sorry,
Not all deisels are slow,,,,most are,,,,,but not all.

This is a formal declaration of war against Georgey Dee. Anyone not wishing to get caught in the crossfire should avoid this thread at all costs! I suggest Georgey and I meet at a place of his choosing for the traditional "pistols at dawn". Except I don't have a pistol, so I will beat him to death with my flip-flops.

Just kidding. I can't believe I'm typing this, but I actually agree with the previous statement : "Not all diesels are slow, most are, but not all". It's called the JCB Dieselmax and it's actually pretty nippy for a tractor. Bloody rubbish at digging holes though....

I do have access to Pistols and I don't think a deisel can out run a bullet!! LOL

But some of these 'dirty' diesels are getting pretty quick. I use a Honda CRV 2.2 CDTI when i respond for the ambulance service, and i have to say,, It's quick, especially as we have a fair bit of kit to lug round aswell,, 272 ftlb of torque,, that's plenty for a 4X4.
