Thanks all,
Its good to know people still like to have fun in a volvo other than on the back seat! lol. I'll post where to send the cheques to soon. we're having a meeting soon here at RAF Marham to see which charities will benafit from the money raised. We raised £6.500 pounds last time! Don't worry about damaging the cars the run offs are huge! and grassed. My mate went off at 100mph+ last time with Zero damage. The only risk is if you hit another car but the track is HUGE and really wide so you'd be going some to even come close to another driver, unless you want to do an unofficial race. We have run 3 of these events now and no one has collided with another car (but there's always a first time). Oh and costs are per car so bring all your mates (within reason, 4 per car) THEY CAN ALL DRIVE TOO!

I'll try and drag the family out for the day, tho I doubt I'll be on the track this year.

How much is it to just go and breathe in the fumes?

Saw this about sep 2006 http://www.rafmarham.co.uk/relations...day-sep-06.htm

Sorry Rob,
Because of insurance reasons (to keep it cheap) you can bring the gang but one of you has to be down as a driver and pay. But once your down here you might want to do a few laps, you never know.

OK thanks for letting me know Georgey.
Are there any meets or track days etc in the Sussex to Surrey areas? I now live Between Brighton and Eastbourne, the cost of fuel and entry for some far off events ( tho I'm certain they are worth it ) plucks the old money tree somewhat.

Cheers,

Rob.

This may be too good to miss out on. It will depend on vehicle condition though. It has sat on the drive since november with Oil pressure issues, which I've not got round to even looking at yet.... but Failing that I'll try and convince a couple of friends to bring their cars...
