2008 Volvo S60 T5 2.4 manual - green/blue
Hi All,
Bit of background....i've had loads of Volvos over the past 15 years, V40, XC90, C70, S60’s (x5), V70 – all T5 or D5’s. Love them, hence why I purchased this latest one with the heart rather than the head. This was purchased as the 2nd family car. I need an estate for the main car (which I currently have a 2 year old Skoda). I was meant to have purchased a smaller 3/5 door hatch as the daily family car, but bought this instead. Ever since, I’ve been reluctant to sell this for the smaller car we need. Now my wife has started a new job and the car is impossible to get into the parking space shes been allocated, so I now have to sell it. Volvo S60 T5 SE Sport – 2.4 Turbo 260bhp. Green/Blue. Full black unmarked black cloth/leather interior. Full electric windows, driver electric seat. Climate control / air con. 6 cd in dash changer. 3.5mm aux plug input. Volvo 4c suspension – comfort and sport – works fine. 6 speed manual. 145k miles. I purchased at 141300. Please see photos for full details. Background… Purchased April 2017 from a 2nd hand dealer. It was MOT’d on the day I purchased it. It initially failed due to a corroded back box. That was replaced and a new MOT issued. Since then I have: • Fitted new Volvo discs & volvo front/rear pads. Flushed and replaced brake fluid. April 17. • Recharged Air Conditioning. July 2017. • Had all 4 Volvo 18” Nebula alloy split rims completely refurbished – anthracite face, chrome rim, silver rear. They are as new, completely unkerbed. August 2017. • Serviced – Shell Oil fully synthetic, oil filter and air filter. August 2017. • Replaced upper engine mount, and 2 x lower tie bar bushes. October 2017. • Replaced alternator with new bosch. December 2017. • Thermostat replaced January 2017. MOT is valid to 12/04/2017. Cambelt was done in September 2014 @ 114k. All previous MOTs on file since 2011. The service book is present, but not well completed. There is however a folder of receipts and invoices present. “Only” negative thing I know about this car….The tyres are legal, but they are likely to need replacing over the next 2000-3000 miles. Passenger door has a paint blemish – swirl mark. Rest of car is immaculate for 10 years old. Logbook present. HPI clear. Currently on 145000. All tyres and brakes are good. Gearbox, clutch and engine good. No warning lights. Full black cloth/leather. In light of the car needing 4 x new tyres over the next 3000 miles I’d be prepared to take £4500. I am also prepared to put a new MOT on the car if the asking price is met, but I will need at least 10 days to arrange this due to work commitments. forgot to add - it goes like a rocket - most definately one of the smoothest T5's i've driven - no effort at all to go quick. I’m really gutted to be selling this. I thought I would be keeping this long term as its one of the last T5’s made and I think it’ll one day be a collectable. I'm in Swindon - please drop me an email/call if interested. Regards Stuart 07958001800.
