  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Have you thought about an 1800 MX5 engine? They're low compression as standard and respond well to a turbo being bolted to them. I know a chap that builds his own tubular Westy chassis with MX5 running gear so they should fit!

I had a k plate import eunos badged one a few years ago, mine was the 1600 and my mate had the 1800 which was 1 year newer (still a mk1) mine was quicker, he was absolutely gutted as my one was his old one which he replaced with the 1.8.

Guys,
You're missing the point! The T4 lump is a heart ruling the head choice. If I can't have a T4, then I'll get the car here and evaluate options in slow time when I have a better idea of budget.

I'm still going to plan the T4 swap in my head until the car tells me otherwise!!

I mean, you could always MAKE room, however it might mean moving all sorts of steelwork and other things! It'd certainly be cool.
