Had to replace oil pressure switch as it was showing low oil pressure on a perfectly healthy engine. Common fault apparently, switch replaced, oil and filter changed, car going better than ever. The guy I use disconnected boost pipes to get to oil switch, and I suspect I may have had a slight leak as it seems even crisper to the throttle now. 4500 miles covered now, still doing what it does effortlessly.

As enjoyable as it has been, after an epic 1800 miles or so in last eight days, the Saab is provisionally sold to a friend of a friend pending fresh mot. It has been a wonderful car and will be sorely missed.
