hi , so has the car not been on the road or had an mot since 2008?
has the intermittant glow plug problem i have read about on the old threads been sorted?

I think the dates of the threads are all to **** - maybe when the site crashed they lost the dates being retired my dates are a wee bit wonky too - however i am sure she was on the road 2009.

Glow plug problem totally fixed with a new set of genuine Bosch glow plugs and a loose connection. I am sure there is a thread about that fix on the diesel forum

Car started first tun of the key last week once i put in a freshly charged battery.

Yes it does it Starts Goes and Stops - as I have just moved it into my neighbours drive as I was getting some work done to my house and the builders needed access to my drive - I cant say on a public forum that I naughtily took it for a quick run round the block uninsured and untaxed instead of just moving it from one drive to the other now can I ;-)

IF it is not pouring with rain and blowing a hooey like it is tonight - i will take and post some new pictures of the car as she is now - I will do that tomorrow at the earliest or the weekend at the latest - not much has changed though - I wont even wash her - well maybe i will - but wait and see and make up your own mind.

nope and nope (maybe - need to look in the car file) Car was bought by PO to do a Cannonball run thing to Rome and she managed that without any issues

She has had light use by me (need to check what the up-to-date mileage is - will include that in the new pictures) and the hardest work she did was pull a yacht from way up in the frozen North of Scotland to Sunny Motherwell...................she did that without a hitch and you would never have known she was towing anything except on the big hills obviously. Other than that she was a weekend driver 3rd/4th car and occasionally a removal van.
