Default Central Locking Not Working on Nearside Doors

I have a problem with the central locking on my 2015 XC60.

A couple of weeks ago I found that the rear nearside passenger door would not unlock by pressing the key fob. In order for it to unlock I had to press the unlock button on the fob several times until it worked. The door locks ok using the fob.

Today the front passenger door has started showing exactly the same problem.

The doors on the driver’s side work fine and so does the tailgate.

Has anyone else had this issue and know what the problem may be?

Thanks in anticipation

The door lock motors are made of cheese. They were recalled in the US but not in the Uk. Mine went down one at a time but I managed to get them working again using WD40 and flicking the mechanism for a couple of days until it went to we buy any car.

There's a thread on the issue here:-

Thanks for that. I take it you had to strip the doors down to apply WD40 to the motors?

Have a look at this thread. I replaced the actuator motors on my N/S front door. Reasonably straightforward repair but takes a while.

I had a similar-ish issue recently.

Swapped the 12V battery (which needed replacing anyway) and the locks have been spot on since.

May have been a coincidence, or maybe thre's not enough juice in the battery to clock/unlock the doors? Dunno.
