Default Upgraded Suspension S40 T4, 2000 plate

Hi, we are currently in the process of restoring our 2000 plate S40 T4 to the road after a number of years sat idle in a yard and are looking for recommendations on what uprated sports suspension people are fitting to these cars these days. Some info on the situation below..

It was fitted with Koni kit comprising springs and adjustable dampers. The springs and exterior of the dampers where it connects to the hub/wishbone etc was quite corroded, all the yellow paint just brushed right off etc but there are no leaks and the piston itself under the dust cover looks clean and undamage on all 4 dampers, so currently we are considering our options and ideally would like to fit new suspension all round.

Koni no longer produce the kit for the car so we can't replace them, they do have a recommended reconditioning workshop but the prices are more than a new kit would have cost. We've already tried contacting Bilstein but while they can supply dampers they are only replacements for the OE ones, not an uprated damper like the car currently has, and they don't have the springs either.

Any suggestions very much welcomed.

Ross
