alarming engine noise and warning lights! - Page 2

fault codes P2101 and P1589.
throttle actuator control.
cokes up with use (all motorway miles with mine.....) and air flap jams. plastic gears fail to open or close flap and teeth shear off. hence noise.
second hand part may be coming soon.........

may be worth taking off and cleaning as a self service item......carb cleaner would do the trick for preventative maintenance.

Anyone post a pic of where the Throttle actuator actually is. I found a similar unit but it has no part number shown - which is not very helpful.

This is bottom left as you look at the VEA 2 litre from the front.

if I could, I would post the video of the tractor rattling under my bonnet with the engine off, but can't see how to post short videos......only pics....

Any ideas on where to buy a replacement part? I'm having the same issue with my V60 D4... Sounds like the gears have had it. Struggling to find a replacement part or repair kit.
Or anyone have a part number?
