Default Sat Nav Disc

Hi Guys ,
I'm new to this so go easy on me!
I have just purchased a 54 plate XC90 ,absolutely loving it .
There was no Sat Nav disc in it when I purchased it , can I get a replacement disc anywhere .
The message on the screen says no disc .
Thanks in advance .
Mark

ebay is a good bet, assuming it's the same unit as in my 2003 V70, then you want to be searching for an 'mmm' satnav disc. I think the last one made if for 2015. Note that mmm+ or mmm2 won't work in these nav units.

If buying a used disc, make sure it covers the UK. They where originally a 3 pack to cover UK and the rest of Europe. Also try and get a genuine disc rather than a copy.

You need a disk for RTI MMM/P2001, disk A

And also suggest you need a genuine Volvo copy.

On earlier XC90 the laser reader head weakens and is not as accurate as it should be. It may have difficulties reading a copied disc but still get away with a genuine Volvo.

I tried a few copied versions purchased from eBay before being recommended to buy a genuine Volvo item, from eBay. Just slightly more expensive but works fine. My disc is 2015.

Greg's suggestion above looks spot on.

Hope this helps

The weakening laser affects all CD and DVD drives on this planet. All brands. Automotive or consumer.

The lasers simply get weaker with age.
And the first sign is the inability to read copies discs.
