Hi guys. Hope you are all well! Was wondering if anyone could tell me what is this grey connector on a pictures for? Was trying to find a cable route for custom interior lighting and came across it while i was taking the central console section apart.... It was literally just hanging there. Many thanks!!!

Depending on the year and model, I think the BLIS, DrivE, traction control and possibly the parking sensor buttons can be located there. My guess is these cars all use the same loom, regardless of chosen factory options. Similarly there are connectors for rain sensors wipers and auto dim mirror in the headliner, regardless of if you had them from new.

Hmmmm... Just had a "lightbulb moment. Is it actually ignition activated fused circuit i could use as an accessory slot if i use the correct connector fitted with extra fused Line and On/off switch?

I don't know. Most stuff is networked from individual modules. So it can be activated for it's original function via a software update. So often there isn't a traditional fuse or relay you can simply add. There are exceptions. The cable in headliner for auto dim mirror does carry a switched current. So it's possible. uou could test it with a multimeter.

Having just written this, I realise that it's only buttons, not accessories which are housed at that location, so in all likelyhood they just carry a signal from a momentary switch to a module, which then powers the accessory. So unlikely it could be used for anything.
