Wow! There's a decent amount of filler behind that there back wheel!

I think that's what I'd call a 10 metre Amazon

Looks like a seam on the sill as well just below the rear of the door but the whitewall tyres and boot rack look nice

That went to many shows around Sussex and Surrey last year, the then owner told me he didn't keep any of his classic cars long after tidying them up. The o/s rear wing had obvious accident damage repair and he had started spraying it a different shade of white/cream. The paint finish was not good but it may not have been fully polished when I last saw it since only the drivers side had been resprayed. The bonnet and roof look as though they are still the original colour.
I hope those bidding have quizzed the owner further regarding the bodywork since details in the advert are very lacking!
A couple of my photos on Flickr of it below:

thankyou for the post always good to see images from the past , on the second image link at a quick glance the chrome trim down the side of the car looks iffy on passengers front wing may be a optic illusion

Hello chaps,

I know this car well - it was my dads...

Generally, it was actually a pretty solid old bus really - the bottom of the O/S back wing was filled, but not to cover rot - he reversed it into his caravan coming home from a car show last year...

He couldn't get a replacement panal at the time, so decided to fill it in the short-term, then do a proper repair in the spring - unfortunately, at about that time, it started causing him no end of problems with bad running - he replaced the carb with a rebuilt unit, put in another rebuilt distributor, a new fuel-pump etc, etc, but still couldn't get it to run properly - so in the end, he decided enough was enough and part-exchanged it at a classic-car dealers against a '66 Morris Minor Traveller...

If its now running properly, someone would have a good car really - it had a brand-new windscreen & rubber fitted the week before he sold it, new tyres, brakes and rear suspension bushes, new radiator, & new plugs/leads etc...and god-knows what else!

I've got an idea another trader has bought it, from the dealer my dad sold it too...

Regards to all...

Guy.
