Crying Shame !!

My V70 T5 is still available for sale @ £500. Please read my other posts concerning this t5...explains everthing i have done to try and solve the problem and codes that have come up...

My reckoning is that it will need a New Gearbox, unless you can suss out what the problem is.
Limp home mode is coming on more frequently than before.

The t5 has no other issues.

If you are coming from miles away then i would suggest a Trailer.
I have changed the PNP Switch, I have tried an ATF flush, and i have fitted a new Radiator as the old one was leaking and i thought Water may have gotton into the Gearbox......
Nothing i have done has solved the problem. Still a Flashing Red Arrow,and then limp mode.
Now as is stands i am stuck with a T5 that i cant really be driving around anymore incase i completly Knacker the car.

I do not have space or time to break this t5, I just want it gone, its doing my head by the day..

Am i asking to much money ??? Whats it worth in this state??

it the gear box module i would have tried reseting it cant get as it is cost for me to buy and collect

Not sure if this helps but on the offchance I did a search to see if the gearbox itself has an ECU and from this it looks like it does

Have a look in your ecu box and see if you have enything like this mate, it might be your problem rather than gearbox itself.

BIG THANKS mate! Definatly take a look today...I want to keep the T5 but Ran out of ££ notes to keep feeding it !!

Just Spoken to the guy selling the Gearbox ECU.....He could'nt tell me if i would need to download anything once i replaced it..

Any Ideas ?

Taken a look at my ECU. The one for sale on Fleabay has 5.3 on it with lots of other smaller numbers with barcodes..

Mine has 42.3 with lots of smaller numbers with barcodes that dont match the one for sale.

Does the ECU have to match up exactly the same?

Any speedy response will be much appreciated!!

Just checked my own and it is a 30.3 my one in V70 T5 CD

I would suggest you put this question in the general questions section Paddy where somebody with a bit more knowledge might be able to advise. I think there is a good chance that your ecu might be knackered.
