Red face Heads a shed!!

I've spent days trying to work out weights and limits and to be honest, losing my hair!!

I have a 98 V40 1.8se - from t'internet research, the weight of this is 1370kg...

Am I right in thinking that working on the 85% rule, I could go to around 1164kg?

The caravan we've been offered the use of appears to have be around a 1000kg.

If it matters, I have one of the new licences - 'B' but no 'E'!

Thanks muchly...

The legal towing limit for your car is given in the car's handbook, often it is more than 100% of the car's weight. The 85% rule is a sensible guidline but it's not the law.
