Default Warped front discs again ?

I had new front discs fitted to my 52 plate S60 a couple of months ago which cured the shudder that it had. I then had some new tyres fitted to the front wheels, not long after that the shudder returned. I have just found out during a recent service at a volvo dealers that the wheel bolts had been excessively over tightened so much so they had real difficulty removing them..I have just read somewhere that this overtightening can cause the discs to warp...Has anyone heard of this or had experience of this causing the warping of the discs ?........... any opinions gratefully recieved.
Thanks

Yes, this is the case.

In fact I aways loosen and re-torque the wheel bolts if a wheel has been removed from my car.

For information, S60 Wheel bolts should be tightened to 140Nm using a torque wrench.

Cheers

HI Mike....i had same symptom initially after new discs..i thought i may have warped discs again but i found the end links and bushes where the main cause after recently replacing the links and bushes the car is back to the way it shoud be...even at high speed braking theres no vibration or judder...and also before doing all this work the car was very unstable at high speeds which now has corrected itself..
regards
Mo

So did I, as this was the torque for both the 850 and V70 classic I had, then I read the handbook for my '05 V70 and if you read hard enough in the wheels section it does say 140Nm.

I have recently replaced the discs pads and drop links on my S60 D5 at 54000 miles but not the bushes.
