Default C70 - Syncing key fobs

Hi all,

So, seems my main key fob doesnt open / close doors. None of the buttons work. Replaced the battery but still doesnt work

Beening looking on the net, saw that I have to disconnect the battery whilst key is in ignition 2, leave for 10 mins, reconnect then try buttons. Nope didnt work.

Then tried switching to ignition 2, then off 5 times within under 10 seconds, then press button to lock. Didnt work.

So, not sure what to do now.

Thoughts ?

Sorted. Turns out the battery I had was flat. It came from a new packet as well. So just shows you to never assume.

Brought 2 new fresh ones and now both remotes work properly.

My T5 keyfob just randomly stopped working the other day... never had any warning message about the battery (I believe these cars should show a "remote battery low voltage" message).

It still starts the car, just no buttons working.

Spare fob works fine so can only assume its a dead battery.
