Using 4 three legged axle stands is extremely ill advised, they are extremely unstable, plus any slope will exasperate the situation.
Please please see if you can ovoid doing this. May be put one end onto car ramps while the other end is being worked on.

I am not sure what you are trying to achieve here?

You said it is for changing wheels? I do this twice a year. I just jack up each corner using a decent trolley jack with an ice hockey puck as a jack pad and replace the wheel. Then I drop that corner and move to the next corner, do the same then on I go round the car. It takes me about an hour.

I can't see why you would want to be trying to get the car up on axle stands. You only need axle stands if you are going to be working under the car, but wheel swapping can be done without putting any of your body in danger.

There is some information on the 2016 XC60 here on central lifting points if using trolley jack access from the front:

The next question is how accurately this translates to the MY19 model:

What are the best central front and rear points?

I would not try and use a centre lifting point, these are not like the old cars with a big strong axle diff casing. When I had my tyres changed the tyre Depot used a trolly jack on each side using the correct lifting points.

So how does one rotate and switch wheels NSF to OSR and OSF to NSR, as recommended for AWD vehicles, without a spare wheel available?

First make sure your tyres are not rotational, some have an arrow to show direction they should travel, if this is the case you have to swap front to back on same side, for the small cost it would be easier to take it to a tyre depot and ask them to rotate them. Without a spare wheel its a hassle.

My tyres are not directional.

How do I raise on 4 axle stands?

Hi Pipps,
This is not meant to be rude or disrespectful but I think it would be best to go to a tyre depot and ask them to put the wheels where you want them.
Much safer to pay the professionals when your DIY skills are perhaps not tuned in to car maintenance.
The Volvo is a heavy old lump so safety is the key here.
Kind regards M.

You don't. Don't even think about it, far too dangerous.

Anyone tried a trolley jack under both the front and rear jack points and lifting both wheels on one side at the same time?
