Thumbs up help!! which size???

hi everyone, need help with this one,looking to change my tyres ( eagle f1s) when looking at size and pressures on the inside of the fuel filler flap found there were 2 different sizes for my car (s80 se) 215/55/16 or 225/55/16,which size would you guys reccomend got 215/55 on now just wondered what the up or downside to fitting the wider ones would be,apart from cost of course,many thanks john

If memory serves, isnt the larger size the winter tyre size? I need to check mine to see. If that is the case the winter tyres will cause you to use more fuel.

ok on the plate on my car, it states that the tyres I need are either:
205/55R/15W or 205/50R/15W it then goes on to say winter tyres are 185/65R/15. Hope that helps.

thanks for the info think i will go with 215/55/16 thats what is on now they seem ok, fitting eagle f1s had them before and they were fine cheers john
