Question Connecting heater hoses

Can anyone tell me the correct way to connect the two heater hose's, I ask because there seems to be conflicting opinions on this, I have just read in the FAQ'S that the hose from the stub in the cylinder head under the inlet manifold goes to the bottom stub on the bulkhead, and the hose from the top stub on the bulkhead goes to the red metal pipe under the exhaust manifold that goes to the water pump.

Then I read a old post on the forum on this and there it says the opposite, the hose from the bottom stub on the bulkhead going to the metal pipe, and the top stub the hose from that to the cylinder head stub,

If anyone knows for sure which way they should be, can you please reply asap.
Thank you in advance David.

Forgot to say its a 940 without air con

I have a 1992 940 estate. No AC, non turbo, 2.0 litre B200F engine.
I couldn’t remember as it is years since I replaced the heater valve so I had a look.
On my car the hose from the top stub is routed behind the engine block and connects behind the block to the rigid red steel pipe from the back of the water pump.
The hose from the lower stub also passes across the back of the engine block then turns through 180 degrees to join a stub on the left hand side of the block.
Hope this helps.
Ian.

Its a 1996 940 turbo B230FK without air con, but according to the FAQS section and a reply off IAN , I think I now know which way to run the hoses, unless someone knows different. Regards David.
