Default DIM failure C30

Hi

Wondering if anyone can help.

Driving today and the DIM goes blank- no lights on info, no speedo, nothing. Even the indicators don’t work now.

Can anyone shed any light on this please?

Jen

You cant guess with this kind of problem it needs some professional diagnosis to see what is going on ( and what is not going on ! ) ...

It'll likely be your CEM connections.

I had the same issue once, windows went down and I couldn't wind them back up, DIM died, indicators stopped etc.

- Disconnect the battery.
- Unplug the wires into the CEM (see YouTube on how to do this)
- Give all connectors and terminals in the CEM a good clean with some IPA alcohol
Reassemble
- Reconnect battery

Fixed it for me and cost me nothing but time
