Default Code reader says.... Turbocharger. Loss of power.

2003 xc90 2.4 awd
Whilst in cruise mainly but also now and again in normal drive. Car looses power.ie limp mode below 2500 rev. I turn off engine. Take out key. Count to 10 and restart. Car normal again. Code reader says turbocharger.
I reset ecu by disconnecting batt and turning on ignition. Leaving for half hour. Car great again.
Any ideas why this happenes now and again? I've cleaned maf etc. I use cleaner and octane riser in fuel. Runs lovely and whistles like a charm but now and then whilst driving in low revs will drop into limp.

May be abs / traction control related, on many cars if traction control develops a fault the ECU cuts engine power low down so you do not spin wheels , things return to normal once up to about 20 mph or so. Often can be reset by turning off removing the key and then restarting.

Vida dice will help pinpoint the problem, your code reader is saying low turbo power but not why, if the ECU is restricting power it would register low turbo power.
