funily enough I came across this thread in google which was quite funny as my car is now failing to start mid build .... so I thought I would update this.
Car ran fine after I raised this without any problems. But today in the garage it failed to start with a suspected spark plug issue so spark plugs are on the way, hopefully tomorrow they will arrive and cross fingers solve the issue. fuel pressure fine and crank signal fine.

Spark plugs wouldn't cause it to not start, unless they're hugely ****ed.
You'd just get lumpy running and small misfires. When you say it won't start, is it completely dead?

Its had a new battery and new alternator as well. I have been looking at what else and read something about issues with fuel injectors.

Surely Shem has the means of finding this out pretty quickly?

100K on the same plugs!
Be careful running plugs this long as the increased resistance can drag the coils down with them eventually £££ Poor plugs will prevent an engine starting from cold, they almost end up getting wet from the fuel being injected. Poor plugs and coils wont stop an engine from turning over though.....

As you guys predicted plugs didnt solve the problem and car still fails to start. Initially I thought it was the fuel pump that might of caue the problem but Shem checked and said thats fine
Fuel pump by Dom Hartland, on Flickr Things that can be rules out: - Battery - Alternator - Plugs Still on original: - Starter motor - coils Car was running after the pump was installed as well. Think Shem is still looking around but if anyone else has any idea's then lets hear them!
