Re map
Hi everyone , I have a 2010 d5 xc70 which I really like on Monday I’m having it mapped and egr delete and dpf delete after I had to hollow the dpf out as it would not regen it’s now straight through thanks to a sds drill and bar , my question it how much will these improve acceleration and mpg as I don’t seem to be able to find anything other than bhp and torque figures on line , thanks Heath

I think you may find that's illegal now and will fail it's next MOT.
I dont know the exact standing on that now but I know the powers that be are getting pretty hot on it. https://www.hypermiler.co.uk/technic...your-egr-valve

It's visible smoke that is the giveaway, presumably.
(And a fail in itself IIRC?) |

Definite improvement in MPG & power AND best of all an immediate MOT fail , Plate limit of your car will easily be exceeded once DPF is removed .
Any & all signs of tampering / modification / deletion of emission control equipment is an automatic MOT fail . You MIGHT get lucky with the analyser passing , BUT should the tester notice ANY smoke again it's an automatic fail Good luck
