2009 D5 SE LUX 185BHP Geartronic

"normal" driving around town'ish 360-380 to a tank (25-27MPG)
"best ever" Ultrecht - Innsbruck - 569 miles (38mpg)

Amazed on the Innsbruck run .... 1 run, 1 stop, 90MPH all the way 5 up + luggage and climate on cold ... used Shell V-Power diesel.

2010 D5 manual. 20k miles on clock. MPG seems to have improved over recent 5k miles.

Most I can recall from a full tank was 580 last week but this was a one off trip so not the usual.

Of the 580 miles, 500 was steady traffic on M25 / M1 over two days. 80 miles was a mix of B road and stop / start through town traffic - so 600+ might have been achievable if all had been M/Way.

Computer quite close - said 44.3MPG at end of day one but after 80 miles dashing around b roads and return m/way trip was at 41.5MPG at end of trip / fill up ( 65 litres went in ). 580 miles works out around 40.5MPG based on fuel used.

2004 SE 163bhp rica tuned to 205bhp, on the school run and around town (all short journeys) fuel light comes on at about 350 miles
More general running around at about 420 miles
On runs on the motorway if I stick to under 80 about 450 miles
(This only has the 5 speed autobox so less efficient on motorways than newer ones)

Mine wont be the worst on here, but 940 2 litre no turbo, i see about 270 miles out of a tank, which is 60 litres. If there is a nice motorway run in there aswell, I see about 300 miles

2008 D5 Sport 185 bhp 40k km (25 k miles). Normally 650 km (400-ish miles) on a tank. Mixed driving with heavy emphasis on city driving. Average speed is low. Enjoying every minute in my XC90!

4 month old MY11 V70 D3 163ps 11000 miles on the clock.

I drive very mixed roads (and a lot of them) and get over 700 to a tank. Best I've had is 789 on one tank. Before anyone says it, no that's not crawling along but at posted limits (using cruise control). I also tend to have a full boot as I carry a lot of gear for my job hence the V70.

'06 model year T6 Exec - around 360 miles per tank with a gentle right foot. Probably more like 300 around town. The on-board tells me that I could do around 420-440 but I try to fill up before the little red light comes on. It's a heavy beast to push.....
