How to find out model year of XC90

May be a simple question (maybe not), but I am about to buy a reg March 2018 car and would like to find out which MY it belongs to. Prob relates more to build date than reg date - any suggestions?

Any place I can check with VIN?

First three digits: YV1 - Volvo Cars Sweden

10th digit: J - 2018

I can see model year 18 introduced Pro models - how can I find out if the Inscription I am after is Pro? from the volvo website I cannot option 22"s on the Inscription, only on Pro.

The car has 22s with dynamic pack and HUD, would it be safe to assume it is a Pro or at the time you could have 22s on that spec?

Most likely MY18.5 based on that date. Mine was built Dec 17, registered Jan 18

There were a few subtle spec changes from 18 to 18.5 (eg bigger T8 hybrid battery) and momentum pro had 20” wheels as standard for a while, but nothing obvious that I can recall

Another way is to put the VIN into your local Volvo support site under user manual and it will bring up the MY manual for the model - might also show you if its a .5 revision as well.
