Question new V60 engines?

Has there been any indication about what engines they will add to the V60 and when? I know hybrids have been mooted but will we see a T4 any time soon for example? It doesn't look like there will be anything new for MY2020, we've just got the rather lopsided D3, D4, T5, T6.

The B4 engines are set to be added to all the Volvo range until the end of this year. There is a B5 engine also coming out but I have no info about it.

In the UK there is no XC60 T6 available?
The T6 is available since last year for the XC60 range as well for the V60 in Europe.

MY20 XC60 Powertrain Update:

A new D4 FWD Automatic variant is introduced to Momentum, Momentum Pro, R-Design and Inscription variants. This is forecast to deliver a NEDC-derived combined CO2 figure of just 129g/km.

The D4 AWD Manual variant is no longer available to order.

A new T5 FWD Automatic powertrain is added to all variants.

And a T6 AWD Automatic is introduced to all R-Design variants

The T8 AWD powertrain benefits from a larger 11.8 kWh battery that improves both range and CO2/fuel economy figures

Both the D4 AWD and D5 AWD benefit from new mild hybrid technology by adding a Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) as standard. This technology will be rolled out on other XC60 powertrains during the next twelve months as part of our commitment to electrification. To signal the new technology, these powertrains will be identified as B4 and B5 – the ‘B’ referring to ‘braking’. As the vehicle decelerates, instead of the energy being absorbed by brake pads and turned into wasted heat, it is channelled via a generator and stored in an auxiliary battery. When the vehicle starts moving again, the energy in the battery is used for acceleration and/or powering ancillary equipment. Unlike a plug-in hybrid, the mild hybrid cannot move using electrical power alone, it is always in conjunction with the petrol or diesel powertrain

As an overview, the MY20 powertrain line-up looks like this;
- D4 FWD 190hp
- B4 AWD 197hp (upgraded power)
- B5 AWD 235hp
- T5 FWD 250hp
- T5 AWD 250hp
- T6 AWD 310hp
- T8 AWD 303+87hp
- T8 AWD Polestar Engineered 318+87hp
