Default 1964 Amazon Wagon Grill Question

I just got a 1964 Amazon wagon or Estate if you are in the UK..lol. It has just wire mesh for the grills. I would like to get some actual Amazon grills but rarely see the pre 1965 grills are the later grills compatible? Can I just bolt on a set of 67 grills to my 64 Amazon?

If it has the original '64 front panel, the later grilles, 2 types but these interchange, won't just bolt in as the holes are slightly smaller. Over the years many front panels have been changed to the later ones on older cars due to unavailability of the early panel, and that maybe the case with yours. You need to find someone locally with a later car, 65 model year or later, and compare panels and grilles. Good luck.
