Engine coolant level low, turn off engine
As the title says, driving along this wee warning appeared, so immediately pulled over, only just driven so not hot, checked level looked fine.
Turned the motor over warning gone, nothing for a few days message reappeared, same again checked twice still level was ok. Could it be the sensor or something as rediculous as getting a new cap aas someone mentioned, any ideas before I get it checked out. 2016 XC90 |

Perhaps check the water level before starting when the engine is cold. Car parked on a level surface.

Sounds like a sensor fault. I would be checking the plug for the sensor is clean, and giving it a good squirt with something to make sure the connections are good.
