I have bought the S80 Auto with P R N D 4 3 L on the gear shifht. Is this the 5 gear autobox that goes neutral when you stop at traffic lights for instance.

Thanks

I have the D5 with auto box and it creeps at traffic lights. I assume yours is the T6.

I also have a D5 with the 5 speed auto box.

Yes, it does of course creep at traffic lights. The point is this: if you are stopped with your foot on the brake, it selects nuetral. First gear is re-engaged the moment you release the foot brake. You won't normally notice this in any way or form.

However, move really smartly from brake to accelerator, and you will very occasionally feel a tiny jolt as you catch it out.
