I have heard that RHD EX30s will continue to be built in China (as the main RHD markets are closer to China than Ghent [Japan, NZ, Australia] it is just the UK which is an outlier). Ghent will then focus on LHD only. How true that is I don't know as the cost of shipping must be significant and I am not sure how much simplicity is really gained from running a factory exclusively on LHD.

Volvo expect the EX30 to be a big seller in the US but given the political tensions and trade barriers between China and the US, I'd bet that EX30s for the US will not be built in China so Europe would seem the obvious place (for now at least).
