V40 1.6 D2 2014 D4162T Low fuel Pressure
Ok so my car has started juddering and a puff of blue smoke from the exhaust pipe when first startup, I had the oil filter and oil change + the fuel filter changed but still have the same problem.
on startup if i throttle the car three- four times it clears and car ticks over fine. I took the car to Volvo Birmingham paid £120 for a diagnostic they didn't find any fault codes but suggested I replace the fuel filter to eliminate this. On the report there are to P-codes ecm P228c7b and ecm P229100 relating to low fuel pressure, as pre tj27523 suspect fuel filter my be the root cause. Can anyone adivse. |

That's why is best to stick with volvo for your parts, at least then you have eliminated that part from the equation.
