Default electronic rebuild

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

It is my intention to rewire the car, and maybe improve upon some of the wire designs. Im an electronic engineer by trade but trained in circuit design and manufacturing.

A few questions l, if you can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Where can I get replacement plugs and clips? Is there any part of the loom that you do not like? In terms of best kept volvo can i improve the design or is it a case of keeping originality?

While I am here, can i also ask what the likely culprit is for dimming lights when the fan cuts in? (saves hunting for the problem if you guys know) What are peoples feelings on solid state relays?

Regards

Andrew

You will need a set of terminal pin removal tool for all the various weather pack connectors.

Here are some connector providers I and many Techs use in the UK.
