I have mine laid up for 10 years (GLE), carbs are a little harder to start to get the fuel through, but the main problem I had was a slipped timing belt, due to something siezed, not sure what but it cleared ok. Rear brakes also siezed, just keep pushing/nudging the car and trying to drive it. Alternatively a wack on the drum edge with a hammer might free it up, not too hard it might break. Or just break it off.

See alt.autos.volvo "360 not starting after laid up"

for you web only kids.
