'Think' that is the oil return pipe or feed pip, it's a hard pipe that connects to the sump...a common failure point is the seals on the pipes...is it definitely the pipe itself?
They can be replaces though yeah, kinda easier to remove the turbo though

There are two 6mm hex (allen) bolts holding it to the turbo. There's also a clamp/bracket half way down the pipe and is connected to the water pipe running parallel to the oil return. Once these are removed the pipe can be just pulled from the block. A new seal for the block and gasket for the turbo side is about €4 in total. When replacing put a little vaseline on the seal and place it on the end of the pipe, then place it into the block and do up your bolts at the turbo side and finally your clamp/bracket.

This has been widely covered some time back so a search should bring up some more info.

Good luck...

Just please be carefull when fitting it back in with the new seal, if u dont place it in correctly it will start to leak again wich can happen so easily. Are u sure that it is where the leak is coming from because sometimes the leak itself comes from the turbo feed pipe(wich sometimes cracks due to vibration) then it runs down the turbo onto the return pipe and from there the oil runs down to the sump where the return pipe goes into. Its worth a check.. I recommend that u also smear some high heat silicone around the pipe when u fitted it back in.

Common failure point is the seals for the oil return, it will be that no doubt. The pipe is a hard pipe and 'should' never (unless already crimped etc) split.
Straight forward enough job to do tbh just a little fiddly getting access to it, best coming in from underneath if you have ramps even better

There is a small amount of play in the pipe so you 'should' be able to get the seal in without having to undo both ends of the pipe, but be careful! kink the pipe and risk starving the turbo etc....not a pretty sight
