  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

Default V70 2001 all 3 brake lights out

Hey just wondering what the problem could be I replaced the brake switch but still no lights ??

Have you checked the fuse? Do you have a live feed to the switch? Do you a multimeter you can use to check the continuity of the switch? Once you know you have a voltage coming out it’s just a matter of fault finding it through to the lights. It can be quite tedious to fault find but it’s fairly straightforward.

Thanks for the quick response i have just bought a volt meter to test it, where's the best place to start, at the switch or the bulbs ?
