Default A few pics of the 122S

I've had a go at uploading a few pics of my recently acquired 122S - I'm too ashamed to show the engine bay.
Whoever did the respray didn't bother to mask it up!!
Hope this pic thing works

Car's looking good. I wonder if your neighbour with the laundry knows he's famous

Hi all
Thanks for the compliments - the gauges were done when I got it - just needed some work. The respray is actually not that good - shows all the signs of rushed work. Several runs etc. I will be flatting, respraying and mopping for quite a while.
The neighbour with the laundry is the long suffering but excellent Gordon who has to put up with me restoring things AS WELL AS sorting out laundry!
I'll be posting more pics as work progresses.
Cheers

Car looks really good!, your interior is smart too. Prefer your steering wheel too, mine is the old 'bow tie' type.

See those long johns on the line behind your neighbour? He s never going to get back into those is he? woollens+hot wash=always a disaster.

Default Seat & Laundry comments

Thanks - the interior is pretty good and is very original. However the drivers seat has the webbing problem and I see there is a fix in the 'how to' section so I am going to have a go myself. As regards the neighbours long johns, I have consulted an expert on the subject and she says that your equation is correct - she did offer to post her laundry recommendations on this site but I have advised against this as persons consulting this forum have got enough problems as it is.

My angle grinder exploded last night so work is at a standstill - getting these bumpers apart is a right pain!
Cheers
