2010 XC60 - Satnav - Recent update CD or replacement unit - Page 2

Just replaced the DVD for my region, a 2018 DVD purchased off satnavishop.

All good, the interface or display is identical to the old DVD, which is not surprising as the DVD only provides map data. Took a few mins to update but looking good so far.

Thanks all for this info- really helpful as got 2010 XC60 yesterday

Worked out how to put the address in to get home from dealer (street address- Lonsdale please share postcode whispering magic!) … but couldn’t get it to speak the instructions. So spent this morning googling - came across satnavishop so good to know they’re effective but can anyone tell me how to get my sat nav speaking to me as the first step please? I’ve searched the handbook provided but nothing mentioned in that or the quick guide and they were only ones I got with the car. The official Volvo site for the free downloads couldn’t find the version I’d need.

All help much appreciated

From memory, press the "back" button at the back of the steering wheel, which brings up various options, select settings, then you can choose male or female voice, volume, once you input a destination the system will say "please follow the highlighted route" when that is being said adjust the volume with the "radio" controls on the steering wheel, hope that helps.
