Default Help!!! Both steering wheel and dashboard air bags have gone

Hi

I have recently purchased a s40 on a 58 plate damaged. Both airbags went off in the crash, do i need to replace any censors before i insert the new dash and steering wheel airbag? If so were are they situated on the car?

I dont know much about volvo's so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Paul

If you've not got access to the information on how to repair the car properly I'd be asking myself if I should be doing it at all.

Whips in front seats prob broken as well as seat belt pretensioners, but as above dont even go there wooley, you will defo need main dealer help with vida codes and resets as well as trying to sort a possibly knackered srs system. Dealers will not want to know (duty of care) . If a replaced bag decides to go off at speed for no reason due to a c0ck repairing the car it could kill you mate!!
